The 2009 film Nine is pretty much crap compared to the Fellini film on which it was based.
Fellini's masterpiece, 8 1/2, cast a gritty fantasy of characters, flashbacks and dreams, that the musical was never able to capture. Even the pure genius of Daniel Day-Lewis couldn't save the updated film.
That said, I love Kate Hudson's rendition of Cinema Italiano. Total wildcat. Thoughts?
