Correspondence: Where's the lamb?

Dearest March,

On occasion, I have heard it said, that you enjoy coming in like a lion, and leaving like a lamb.

While I do have a thing for Mufasa (who happens to run in our wolfpack), and the utmost respect for your signature entrance and departure, I write today to implore you to give us a little less lion and a little more lamb.

Today is March 21st, and yet you continue to snow on our proverbial parade. I beg you to cease and desist. Bring on the lamb! Bring in the spring!

Please.

Pretty please?

Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.

Best,
Dfest

So I think its time for us to have a toast

Snowpocolypse is among us.
BUT, Phil the Groundhog has no shadow, and thus, spring is on its way!
(Phil is totes in the wolfpack.)
So I think its time for us have a toast.

I wrote you this little song. It's to the tune of "Runaway" by Kanye.

Let's have a toast for the Groundhog,
Let's have a toast for the rock salt,
Let's have a toast for the snowplows,
Every one of them on the road.
Let's have a toast for weather guys
That'll talk of grey skies
Baby, I got a plan
Run away fast and get tan.

Yep. I'm punchy.

In the midst of winter, I found there was, within [Shaq] an invincible summer.

Yes, I just butcherd Albert Camus's beautiful words for a pun that is not even funny.

But you gotta check this out:
Shaq-o-meter: Does season's snowfall measure up to Shaq? - Boston.com

The score

Danielle's caffeine addiction: 1

Today's winter storm: 0

Game summary: I braved the elements, risked my life in the cell-block above, (also known as the courtyard of my apartment building) and trekked down the street to the always reliable Mystic Coffee Roasters, secured hot steamy, strong coffee, and made it back to the warm and cozy of my apartment.

I love celebrating small victories. Do you guys have any triumphs over the snow?

There is nothing like going to sleep in one world, and waking up in another.

We've got a snow day, wildcats.

I'm thinking it is time to recruit someone with a PLOW into the wolfpack.

In the meantime, enjoy these lovely photos taken by Miss Kaitlin Murphy of Beacon Hill.
