Raise an unexpected glass to long, cold winters...

The scene out my office window is more quaint
than the MJ dance party going on inside.

It's snowing again in Boston.

People who shovel their sidewalks well are going to the front of the line when they get to heaven.

When it's snowing, I feel like I have to listen to Christmas music, no matter how far we are from Christmas.

Walking to work today I passed a man shoveling his sidewalk wearing a Breathe Right strip.  Those things are so awkward that I felt like I couldn't even look at him.  It was like I was interrupting a private moment or something.

You know Telephone, that game you play at elementary school sleepovers?  Well, turns out that's an adult game too, only it's called Office Emergency Phone Tree now.

It would have be awesome if I'd
gone to work in this.
Something about snow really makes me crave popcorn.  I have no idea what that's about.

I look at all the extra people on the T during a blizzard the same way a priest looks at all the extra people in chuch on Christmas.  So, you're too good for it the rest of the year, but today you want a part of this?

When it's really snowy, I want to wear lots of frosted make-up like those late-nineties Covergirl ads.  So far, I've managed to resist that temptation.  But if frosted make-up were going to make a come back, I probably wouldn't complain about it.

Snow plows are really scary when you are walking in the street.

Stay warm, wildcats.
